About Darby

Hey there, I'm Darby!

I’m a performer, originally from Texas, who now calls New York City home! After training at a competition dance studio growing up, I made the move to NYC, where I earned my Commercial Dance degree and graduated from the honors program at Pace School of the Performing Arts.

Some of my favorite performances to date include West Side Story with The Lexington Theatre Company (Minnie), traveling across the nation as a backup dancer for recording artist J-Line, Fragments, a new, original play produced by Uptown Works and debuted at Dixon Place, dancing aboard Holland America Line’s Eurodam with RWS Entertainment Group, an immersive rendition of The Tempest with The Secret Theatre, and Freedom with Ninja Ballet.

When I’m not performing, you can find me teaching dance and barre classes, traveling, creating websites (like this one!), listening to true crime podcasts, and exploring all that New York City has to offer!
